September

As September begins I've learned that the local people are right: It sure does rain a lot here in August. It doesn't always rain hard, but it does rain almost every day.

There is one thing that's different though; it doesn't lightning or thunder much here. Now that I think about it, I've only heard thunder here once or twice all year, and that was back in June.

It's also starting to get cooler again, with the mornings starting in the low 40's, and the high temperatures peaking at around 60, or maybe 65.

One other thing I've noticed is that the sun is very low in the sky. It never gets directly overhead, it starts low in the morning, and stays low all day.
