July 11th: Squirrel eating tortilla chips

Squirrel and I were sitting on the porch today when two people walking down the road saw Squirrel eating some tortilla chips on the porch with me. They came over, and asked if they could take some pictures of him. He said it was okay.

The people were very nice. They are from Germany, and they're staying at the local hostel, which is just down the road from my cabin.

After they left, Squirrel told me that all the tourists think he's cute, and everyone wants a picture with him. I had no idea he was so popular.
